My Story

I took two of my biggest passions, CrossFit® and my career as a Certified Natural Health Professional, and combined them.

Everyday I am engulfed in the amazing CrossFit® community helping other CrossFitters break through health and fitness barriers and bring out their inner beast.

I unraveled all of my digestive and hormonal
issues by figuring out what foods work best
for my unique body.

I now have more energy than I ever
thought possible, glowing skin,
healthy digestion, hormonal
balance, food craving
freedom, constantly PR-ing
and advancing my skill set.

I was a dancer growing up and loved to workout. As an adolescent I started to develop some disordered eating patterns. By my twenties my digestive system, hormones and thyroid were a disaster.

I went from skinny to chubby, though I was working out like a mad woman. I was always bloated and had excruciating stomach pain, crazy mood swings and out of control food cravings.

I had tried various tried and true diets to try to get my symptoms under control; from veganism to paleo I had tried it all. It wasn’t until I went back to school for nutrition and natural health care that I was able to understand and gain control over my health.

I knew I needed to calm down the chronic inflammation, heal the tissues of my digestive system and balance my hormones before I could get the results I was looking for in the gym.

I also came to the realization that there are many legitimate dietary theories out there, and they’re all right and all wrong at the same time.

It’s not about putting yourself into one category, it’s about taking what works for you from many theories to get your perfect dietary fit.

I needed to calm down the chronic inflammation, heal the tissues of my digestive system and balance my hormones before I could get the results I was looking for in the gym.

Once I was able to pin point exactly which foods were causing me problems and learned where various hormone levels were at I was able to create a dietary and supplemental plan that worked specifically for me to get my body feeling and looking its best again.

I am truly happy now. I love my body and am constantly amazed by what I can do now that I am eating what I need to thrive and perform at my best. I am a powerhouse at my Box, even earning the nickname “The Beast”.

I am now a WOD Killer- everyday; the strides I am making in my workouts are ridiculously amazing and the hard work I put in shows. I have ambition and drive and I am not afraid to go after any goal.

I see people struggling and frustrated everyday; wondering why they aren’t getting what they work so hard for.

I see the discouragement and defeat that comes with thinking a great body, amazing health and top performance aren’t meant for them and it breaks my heart.

We all deserve to look and feel our best and to reach our performance goals.  To have confidence, be proud, reach goals and LOVE yourself is the most amazing feeling in the world and that’s what I want to help others achieve.
